It's been a roller coaster ride in more ways than one for Sydney FC this season.
However one player who has helped improve the club's fortunes is Serbian import, Ranko Despotovic.
The 30 year old is regarded as one of the A-League’s most experienced journeyman, having played in Romania, Spain and Japan, but his immediate focus is to guide the Sky Blues to A-League success.
And after scoring on debut six weeks, Despotovic is relishing the opportunity of playing alongside Sydney FC teammate and Italian football legend, Alessandro Del Piero.
