Midfielder Raul Garcia has extended his contract at Spanish title challengers Atletico Madrid untill 2018, the club announced on its website Monday.
The 27-year-old has been at the club since 2007, after joining from Osasuna, and has scored 14 goals in all competitions this season for Diego Simeone's side.
Atletico, who last won the La Liga title in 1996, are level on 60 points with both Barcelona and Real Madrid atop the standings with 14 games remaining.
