Raw energy permeates every part of No Fit State's circus performance of Bianco.
There's a lot of passion, enthusiasm and incredible skill on display as the performers and musicians draw the audience in for an interactive experience to remember.
But there's no time for warming up.
Acrobats launch straight into the theatrical performance, backed by a punchy versatile live band which brings everyone along for the ride.
Their attitude is infectious.
Soon the audience is moving around the big top, too, taking in the acrobatic displays, tightwire walkers, high trapeze and clowning from different angles, and literally rubbing shoulders with the performers.
Don't be put off by standing for the show.
It really adds to the experience, allowing you to be part of the set as each phase of the performance plays out.
Circus is all about timing and this international troupe is bang on.
They're all about having a good time so it makes you feel like scaling a ladder to be part of the magic.
Amid all the fun there are some beautifully choreographed routines putting strength and poise on show, and then drenching the space in colour and costumes as the music fills the performance space.
Director Firenza Guida has managed to strike a great balance between controlled madness, grace and pure agility.
* Bianco is playing under the big top at the Perth Festival until March 1.
