REA revenue up 20 pct despite early Easter

REA Group, which is majority owned by News Corp, says revenue for the three months to March 31 was up 20 per cent to $147 million.

The company behind realestate.com.au has lifted third-quarter revenue 20 per cent despite the effect on listings from an early Easter.

REA Group, which is majority owned by News Corp, says revenue for the three months to March 31 rose to $147 million from $123 million for the prior corresponding period.

The company says the early Easter has meant higher listings numbers in April and expects the rate of full-year revenue growth to exceed the rate of cost growth.
