Recall on track to meet earnings forecast

Recall Holdings chief executive Doug Pertz says the data manager, which is subject to a takeover offer, is on track to lift earnings this year.

Data management firm Recall Holdings is on track to deliver earnings and revenue growth as it tries to wrap up a takeover offer from US logistics giant Iron Mountain.

Recall's chief executive Doug Pertz and chairman Ian Blackburne both urged shareholders at the company's annual meeting on Monday to back the $3.4 billion offer, which has raised some concerns with the competition watchdog.

Mr Pertz said that while the completion of the deal was not guaranteed, Recall was on track to meet its August forecast of delivering full year revenue growth approaching double digits, and underling earnings growth at least in line with revenue growth, on a constant currency basis.
