Supermodel Bar Refaeli has splashed out on a one-of-a-kind facial by covering her face in 24-carat liquid gold.
The 28-year-old has tried the new anti-ageing beauty treatment, which is gaining popularity among wealthy celebrities.
Refaeli posted a photo of herself on Instagram showing her face dripping with the expensive liquid.
The gold Bee Venom Facial costs $US1,600 ($A1,735.17), according to MarieClaire.co.uk.
This isn't the first time Refaeli has tried out unusual pampering procedures - in December, she shared a snap of herself receiving a "vampire facial", which involves drawing blood before massaging it back into the skin to help tackle wrinkles.
