Viewers in regional WA won't be able to watch the Nine Network after the metropolitan free-to-air broadcaster failed to come to an agreement with licence holders WIN and Prime.

Nine says viewers will have to watch the service online after talks broke down.

"The only beneficiaries of this situation are Prime and WIN, who will now broadcast their signals in regional WA with no real competition," Nine said in a statement.
