Relatives help probe into Qld boy's death

Police are hoping the results of a post-mortem examination of a 10-year-old boy found dead in a Brisbane house will offer some clues as to how he died.

Relatives of a young boy found dead in a Brisbane home are assisting police as a post-mortem is carried out on his body.

The 10-year-old's body was found at the house at Mackenzie on Sunday about 5pm and police believe he died that day.

They expect to know more about the circumstances surrounding his death later on Monday or Tuesday when a post-mortem is completed.
