Bad weather has been hampering relief and rescue efforts in Nepal, days after Saturday's massive earthquake killed over 5,000 people.
Help is reportedly beginning to reach remote parts of the country, where tens of thousands are said to have been left injured and homeless.
Michael Haden is a Sydney man who found himself in the capital Kathmandu at the time of the quake.
He's at the Australian embassy preparing for a flight to Bangkok, after spending several days in the open waiting for the tremors to subside.
He's told Kristina Kukolja, reports of an outbreak of swine flu have panicked those sleeping rough.
