Rugby league fans lick your lips, next week's clash between Brisbane and Sydney Roosters could well be an early grand final preview.
The Roosters are the premiership favourites, an eight-game unbeaten run propelling Trent Robinson's men firmly into contention.
But for all the Roosters form, it is the Broncos who'll head to Sydney next week as competition leaders.
Wayne Bennett's men crushed St George Illawarra 32-6 at Suncorp Stadium on Friday night.
The six-tries-to-one victory was built on the back of a defensive effort in which the Dragons forced 47 tackles inside the opposition 20, but could only cross the line once.
Key to that was prop Adam Blair.
The New Zealand international returned from a two-game ban in sensational style, setting up the big win with several crucial defensive interventions.
Blair refuses to look too far ahead however, saying the key to the Broncos' success so far has been focusing on themselves and not their opposition.
"We can't worry about the Roosters too much, everyone knows how good they are," Blair said.
"We've just got to worry about ourselves.
"We haven't looked too far ahead.
"The key thing is to keep doing what we've been doing all year. That's worked for us."
Victory over the Roosters would all but assure the Broncos of a top-two finish and a home final.
Blair said the prospect of kicking off their finals campaign in front of a bumper home crowd would indeed be enticing.
"It would be good for us, packed out house here every weekend, we thrive on those things," he said.
"The boys love it. The fans love it. It'd be good to have one of those games here."
