Australians are expected to spend $7.6billion around thecountry, in the final week of the Christmas sales.

That's up slightly on the previous year.

But they'll be hoping consumers continue to spend in the post-Christmas sales too.

For some advice on how to tackle the sales, and for more details on your rights as a shopper, I spoke to Margy Osmond from the Australian National Retail Association.
