Richmond coach Damien Hardwick says there's no danger of a let-down following their Fremantle triumph when the Tigers host West Coast on Friday night.
Richmond handed the Dockers their first defeat of the AFL season before the bye and Hardwick says the challenge of West Coast means there's no chance of complacency.
He says he's poised to stick with a three tall forwards set-up at the MCG, while former skipper Chris Newman will play another game in the reserves as he returns from injury.
Meanwhile, Richmond are confident of signing free agent Alex Rance for 2016 despite reports the defender has considered quitting.
The 25-year-old's Jehovah's Witness faith and desire to travel with his partner have been cited as reasons for the top defender's possible retirement.
Richmond chief executive Brendon Gale acknowledges Rance has big decisions to make but says he "will be a Richmond player for years to come".
"He has some things in his life he values other than footy and we respect that so we are letting him work through those things in his own time," he told SEN radio on Wednesday.
"But that is coming to a head now. We need to plan for the future and build our list accordingly.
"Without going too far into it, I am very confident Alex will be a Richmond player."
