Rieko Ioane named for All Blacks' tour

Blues outside back Rieko Ioane may make his All Blacks debut in the northern hemisphere after being named in the side's touring squad.

Exciting Blues' Super Rugby youngster Rieko Ioane has been selected for the All Blacks' northern tour.

Ioane, 19, enjoyed a solid debut campaign before with the outside back setting the provincial championship alight scoring 10 tries in nine games for Auckland.

He will be joined by squad apprentice Jordie Barrett, the 19-year-old younger brother of star five-eighth Beauden Barrett.

Also named is a third Barrett brother, Scott, with the 22-year-old selected as injury cover for lock Sam Whitelock, who is facing a spell on the sidelines with a sprained ankle.
