Rashid Mahazi might only be 21 but his journey to the A-League has covered more ground than most.
Born in Melbourne, he went as far as Independiente in Argentina before returning to Victorian Premier League club Northcote City.
Still looking for his big break, he was offered a two week trial with Melbourne Victory.
At its conclusion, he went back to Northcote and didn't hear anything for weeks ... until a fateful call from then manager Ange Postecoglou.
"I remember Ange said to me when he offered me the deal 'your life will change overnight', and it really did."
