Australian Neil Robertson's UK Championship snooker title defence is over despite a terrific fightback in his fourth round clash with former world champion Graeme Dott.
Robertson, 32, looked on course for a demoralising one-sided loss after falling 5-0 down to Scotland's Dott, leaving him one frame from elimination at York's Barbican Centre.
But the Melbourne-born cueman stormed back to level the score and force a decider, recording century breaks in frames seven and nine, only for Dott to prevail with a break of 56 for a 6-5 victory.
Dott will now face Stuart Bingham in the quarter-finals.
