According to The Sun newspaper in the UK, Harris was moved about two weeks ago from HMP Bullingdon to Stafford jail.
The newspaper quoted a source that said, “They moved him for his safety" and that fellow inmates "were keen to take him down a peg or two."
"He was moved to another prison for his own safety about two weeks ago."
The news comes after claims that Harris was receiving favourable treatment by being given a gardening job ahead of other inmates.
Harris is serving five years and nine months in prison after being found guilty of 12 charges of indecently sexually assaulting four girls from 1968 to 1986.
