Sydney Roosters boom rookie Sio Siua Taukeiaho has re-signed with the NRL club until the end of the 2017 season.
Back-rower Taukeiaho has impressed for the Roosters so far this season with his powerful running, after debuting for the Tricolours in their round-one win over North Queensland.
He made his NRL debut for the Warriors in the final round of the 2013 season.
Taukeiaho will celebrate his re-signing with his run-on debut for the out-of-form Roosters in Saturday night's round-seven clash with the Storm in Melbourne.
The 23-year-old moves into the Roosters' forward pack in the absence of the suspended Sam Moa, as the visitors seek to break their two-match losing streak.
Taukeiaho announced the re-signing on his Instagram account.
"Very proud to remain a Rooster for the next 2 years. DONE," he wrote.
James Maloney, Daniel Tupou and Shaun Kenny-Dowall all remain unsigned for the Roosters beyond this year.
