Roos back Goldstein to bounce back in AFL

North Melbourne ruckman Todd Goldstein will keep his spot for the AFL clash against Carlton despite a poor showing last week.

North Melbourne coach Brad Scott is backing ruckman Todd Goldstein to bounce back after he was comprehensively outpointed by Melbourne's Max Gawn.

Goldstein managed 15 hitouts to Gawn's 50 in Saturday's loss to the Demons, but Scott has guaranteed he will keep his spot for the round four clash against Carlton.

Important defender Robbie Tarrant is expected to return for Saturday night's game in Hobart after overcoming hamstring tightness.
