Roosters announce co-captains for Nines

The Sydney Roosters have named Mitchell Pearce and Jared Waerea-Hargreaves as co-captains for the Auckland Nines.

Mitchell Pearce and Jared Waerea-Hargreaves have been named co-captains of the Sydney Roosters' Auckland Nines squad.

The Roosters released their 18-man roster on Saturday for the two-day competition which starts on January 31 at Eden Park.

Coach Trent Robinson's side is grouped with Brisbane, Canterbury and Cronulla.

Roosters squad: Mitchell Aubusson, Brendan Elliot, Kane Evans, Jackson Hastings, Samisoni Langi, Nene Macdonald, James Maloney, Willie Manu, Sam Moa, Taane Milne, Dylan Napa, Mitchell Pearce (co-capt), Lagi Setu, Nathan Stapleton, Siosiua Taukeiaho, Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, Jared Waerea-Hargreaves (co-capt), Mitchell Williams.
