The Sydney Roosters have moved quickly to lock up rising star Victor Radley long-term, extending his contract until the end of the 2023 NRL season.

After just 17 first-grade games, the hard-working and skilful back-rower has quickly become a cult favourite due to his trademark bone-rattling defence.

Radley was already signed with the club until the next of next year.

However the Tricolours have moved quickly to keep the Clovelly Crocodile junior under lock and key, signing him to a four-year contract extension.

"There are no words for how proud I am to represent the Roosters, I just love the club," Radley said.

"I'm learning so much from (coach Trent Robinson), the coaches and all the senior boys. And this is where I want to build a career, so I'm stoked that I'll continue to be a part of the team here."
