Roosters sign Ian Henderson

Ian Henderson is set to re-join the Sydney Roosters having decided to leave UK Super League club Catalans Dragons.

Sydney Roosters have reportedly signed hooker Ian Henderson from Catalans Dragons.

The former Roosters, Parramatta and Warriors rake is set to leave the Super League at the end of the season to link back up with the club where he made his debut in the 2003 season.

The move will see him link back up with coach Trent Robinson, who initially coached him at the French-based Super League club.

"I am sad to say that after five years here I will be heading home at the end of the season," Henderson said.

"It was definitely a tough decision to make and one that didn't come easy. At the end of the day the timing is right for me and my family to return home and I look forward to the opportunity to play in NRL again."
