Rosberg asks fans for help to find helmet

Nico Rosberg is looking for one of his race helmets stolen from the Mercedes garage before the German Formula One Grand Prix.

Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg on Thursday asked his fans to help him find one of his race helmets stolen out of the team garage at the German Formula One Grand Prix two months ago.

Rosberg posted the appeal on his website, adding two photos from the ruling body FIA showing a person in the garage and a picture and the registration number of the helmet.

"My race helmet got stolen out of the security guarded team's garage at Nuerburgring GP on Sunday (July 7) at 1.51am. Check the FIA picture of the thief. Let us know if any of you see one on ebay or somewhere else. I have never given out an original race helmet. So if you see one then let us know. Thanks," Rosberg said.
