P - Australian teenager Ryan Ruffels has eased into the second round of match play at the US Amateur golf championship.
Ruffels, 17, beat Californian Beau Hossler 5 and 4 to reach the last 32 at Olympia Country Club in Chicago.
Countryman Maverick Antcliff also advanced, beating Poland's Adrian Meronk 1 up.
However the third Australian, leading strokeplay qualifier Brett Coletta, was upset by Georgia's Kyle Mueller who triumphed 1 up.
The defending champion Gunn Yang of South Korea was also eliminated, losing 3 and 2 to Cameron Young of New York.
