Agribusiness Ruralco has appointed Richard Lee as chairman to replace Richard England, who has resigned from the board.
Ruralco said that Mr Lee, who is currently chairman of Oil Search and a director of Newcrest Mining, has had broad exposure to agribusiness both personally and through board roles at Ridley Corporation and CSR.
Mr England, who joined the Ruralco board in 2002 as non-executive chairman, had indicated in February at Ruralco's annual general meeting that he would stand down.
