SA man charged with murder over crash

A man involved in a fatal car crash in South Australia has been charged with two counts of murder.

A 36-year-old man involved in a fatal car crash on South Australia's Eyre Peninsula has been charged with two counts of murder.

It will be alleged the man deliberately drove a Nissan station wagon into the path of an oncoming vehicle on the Lincoln Highway at Middleback on December 29.

He was previously charged with two counts of manslaughter after two people in the oncoming car died but the charges have been upgraded following an extensive investigation, police say.
