SA man films self speeding in stolen car

A South Australian man is facing numerous driving charges after he filmed himself speeding in a stolen car, with the footage later posted on social media.

A man has filmed himself speeding at 240km/h in a stolen car in Adelaide, with the footage uploaded to Youtube.

The 38-year-old was arrested on Tuesday after filming himself earlier this year driving a stolen Commodore on Port Wakefield Road, in Adelaide's north.

The footage was uploaded to Youtube, police say.

It's alleged the man was also filmed doing burnouts in the same car.

He will appear in Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Wednesday charged with driving at dangerous speeds, misusing a car and driving while disqualified.
