SA police complaints system 'inefficient'

South Australia's anti-corruption inquiry has launched public hearings to look into laws involving complaints about police and public servants.

SA's Independent Commission Against Corruption has opened public hearings in Adelaide as part of its review of laws related to complaints against police and public servants.

Counsel assisting Michael Riches said Thursday the current system fell short of providing the public with an effective and efficient system to make complaints.
