SA police engage in two pursuits overnight

South Australia Police were busy overnight with two pursuits in Adelaide's northern suburbs.

Two men have been charged after separate police pursuits in the northern suburbs of Adelaide.

The first was terminated following a short pursuit just after 10.30pm on Tuesday in the Hillbank area.

Police later saw the car drive into a private driveway at Davoren Park.

The driver, an 18-year-old man from Elizabeth North has been charged with engaging in a police pursuit and a number of traffic offences.

He has been bailed to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court at a later date.

Then, just before 4am on Wednesday, police chased another car until it stopped at Sefton Park.

The driver, a 33-year-old Enfield man was arrested and is being interviewed by police.

He is expected to be charged with a number of traffic offences.
