South Australian Premier Steven Marshall has delivered his first major set-piece speech since the state election, in which he reiterated several promises.

PROMISES MADE BY SA LIBERAL PREMIER STEVEN MARSHALL IN HIS FIRST MAJOR SPEECH:

* Deliver on the Liberal Party's election promises "in full".

* Lead a reformist government.

* Deliver business tax cuts and cut costs for consumers to foster economic growth and job creation.

* Backed decisions to make the public service more efficient and responsive.

* Committed to growing the state's population as a priority.

* Allow South Australians to succeed without unnecessary interference from his government's administration.
