SA teacher admits more sexual offending

A sentencing hearing has been delayed for a SA teacher and his partner who have admitted sexually abusing her children and producing child pornography.

An Adelaide teacher who, along with his partner, sexually abused her daughters to produce pornography has now admitted possessing child pornography.

The man, 37, and the woman, 36, were due to face a sentencing hearing in the South Australian District Court on Tuesday.

But prosector John Wells asked for an adjournment so the parties can continue discussions on agreed facts in the case.

One disputed matter related to photos taken of one victim by the mother while the teacher was not present.

"The dispute is about the role he played in encouraging his co-accused to take the photos," Mr Wells said.

He said a new charge had been filed against the teacher, who then pleaded guilty to an aggravated count of possessing child pornography between July 2011 and November 2012.

He had previously admitted four counts of sexual intercourse with a person under 14 and one aggravated count of producing child pornography.

His partner has admitted five counts of sexual intercourse with a person under 14, one aggravated count of indecent assault and two aggravated counts of producing child pornography.

Mr Wells said there also was a dispute over a victim impact statement, which the crown had in the form of a psychological report.

"It was prepared on behalf of the family of the victim and speaks of the effect on the father of the victim, the victim herself and her two siblings," he said.

The matter was adjourned to March 27.
