SA worker attacked with baseball bat

A masked man has attacked a worker at an Adelaide service station with a baseball bat while his accomplice stole money and cigarettes.

A worker has been attacked with a baseball bat during a service station hold up in Adelaide.

A man wearing a balaclava hit the worker's legs while another stole money and cigarettes from the West Beach shop early on Tuesday, police say.

The victim was treated for minor injuries and the suspects remain on the run.
