Sydney's father-son draft pick Tom Mitchell will play his first AFL game since round four in Sunday's clash with the Western Bulldogs at Etihad Stadium.
Mitchell, son of former Swan Barry, has played 18 games including four in an injury-interrupted 2014 season.
Nick Smith and Rhyce Shaw also come into the side for injured onballers Craig Bird and Josh Kennedy and Dean Towers has been axed.
The Bulldogs have dumped 2013 All-Australian Will Minson and will send inexperienced pair Tom Campbell and Ayce Cordy into battle against Sydney's 2012 premiership ruckman Mike Pyke.
Nathan Hrovat, Lin Jong and prolific ball-winner Jack Macrae also return for the Bulldogs.
St Kilda have named 19-year-old debutant Spencer White among three inclusions for Sunday's game against Richmond at the MCG.
The 196cm forward has kicked nine goals in his past three games for Sandringham in the VFL.
White was the No.25 pick in the 2012 draft.
"We are not expecting miracles," St Kilda coach Alan Richardson told the club's website on Friday.
"There is a lot of talk about Spencer and he still has a lot to learn and work on.
"But we've told him to come in and compete, defend and go for his marks."
Clint Jones and Brodie Murdoch are back in the side while Josh Saunders and James Gwilt have been dropped. Shane Savage suffered a broken arm at training on Thursday.
Richmond are unchanged, with Reece Conca unable to force a return after completing a two-game ban.
Brisbane have included 2003 premiership player Ash McGrath, 31, for his farewell game when the Lions host Fremantle at the Gabba on Sunday.
Fremantle regain Hayden Ballantyne, Garrick Ibbotson and Nick Suban.
