San Francisco's squeezed residents target tech giants

As the cost of renting an apartment continues ever skywards in San Francisco, tech giants are coming under fire from angry local residents.

It's the centre of the tech world - Silicon Valley outside San Francisco in California.

But as the cost of renting an apartment continues ever skywards in the Golden Gate city, tech giants are coming under fire from angry local residents. 

In a city with a long history of speaking out, resident groups are targetting the companies they say are forcing long-term residents from their homes.
