Fremantle ruckman Aaron Sandilands is facing a fitness test ahead of Sunday's AFL clash with Collingwood as the Dockers regroup from their worst defeat of the season.
Coach Ross Lyon warned that few spots were safe after the hapless Dockers suffered a 100-point belting from Adelaide on Saturday night.
Sandilands missed the Adelaide Oval clash with hamstring soreness but is a chance to return to face the Magpies at Domain Stadium, as is midfielder Ed Langdon (knee).
"Aaron has some hamstring soreness out of last week's game," Fremantle fitness boss Jason Weber said.
"He's progressing really well and we're looking forward to having him as a test this week.
"Ed had slight knee damage from about a fortnight ago ... he's already had a good run this week and we look forward to seeing him at match committee."
Small forward Hayden Ballantyne (hamstring) is at least three weeks away from returning, while Harley Bennell - whose persistent calf issues have kept him sidelined since late 2015 - is listed as four to five weeks away.
"Harley's started doing a lot of speed work and is progressing," Weber said.
"He did some team work with the group today and we look forward to seeing him in football soon."
Collingwood expect key forward Darcy Moore (shin) will be available to face the Dockers, and the Magpies could welcome back more troops for next week's Queen's Birthday clash against Melbourne.
James Aish (cheekbone) and Jesse White (hamstring) are both in the frame for the annual MCG clash, while Travis Varcoe (hamstring), Ben Reid (quad) and Ben Sinclair (hamstring) are aiming to return a fortnight later.
