SBS farewells 'Mr Football' Les Murray

After three and a half decades 'Mr Football' will be leaving his role as Chief Football Host and Editorial Supervisor at SBS.

After three and a half decades 'Mr Football' will be leaving his role as Chief Football Host and Editorial Supervisor at SBS.

The Hungarian-born Les Murray is credited with playing a significant part in growing the popularity of the world game in Australia.

He was made a Member of the Order of Australia in 2006, and is a member of the FIFA ethics committee.
