Schapelle Corby to finish drug trafficking sentence in May

Convicted drug trafficker Schapelle Corby will be free to return to Australia in May next year, Indonesian authorities say.

Schapelle Corby will be free to return to Australia in May next year after serving the last months of her drug trafficking sentence in Bali.

News Corp reports that the Parole Board has confirmed Corby's release date has been set for May 27.

Corby was originally sentenced to 20 years in jail for importing more than 4kg of marijuana into Bali in 2004 but was released from Bali's Kerobokan Prison on February 10, 2014.
