Scott searching for third gold jacket

Adam Scott has confirmed he will return to Australian Masters at Huntingdale this year for a fourth consecutive year.

Adam Scott will return to Huntingdale for a fourth consecutive year this November, setting up an exciting match-up with fellow former world No.1 Ernie Els at the Australian Masters.

The world No.16, who tasted success at the event in 2012 and 2013, is bidding to become just the third player after Greg Norman and Craig Parry to win the tournament three times.

"Melbourne is a great city. I am looking forward to being back, playing at Huntingdale and competing for my third gold jacket," Scott said.

Last month, Els, who finished second to Craig Parry at the event in 1994, confirmed he would return to Australia for the first time since the Presidents Cup in 2011.

Global apparel retailer, UNIQLO has also been named as the new title sponsor of the tournament, marking the company's first ever title sponsorship.

The announcements are another coup for Victorian golf, who this month announced they would host The Presidents Cup in 2019 as well as next year's World Cup of Golf.
