Scott's sister asks #HaveACuppaWithSteph

One month since her sister Stephanie Scott was killed, Kim Scott has ventured an invite to Australians on social media to reflect on the tragedy.

The sister of murdered NSW schoolteacher Stephanie Scott has invited Australians to have a cup of tea with loved ones a month on from the bride-to-be's death.

"Instead of thinking about how she was taken, we should all try and remember how much Stephanie gave," wrote Kim Scott on her Facebook account.

"And what better way to reminisce than with your loved ones, over her favourite beverage ... a hot cuppa tea."

The grieving Scott sister ended the post with hashtag #HaveACuppaWithSteph.

The bubbly 26-year-old was allegedly killed in April by a cleaner at Leeton High School where she taught English and drama, a week before her wedding.

Following extensive media coverage of the case that shocked the Riverina region, hundreds of Australians paid tribute to the bride-to-be by posting photos of their wedding dresses on social media with the hashtag #PutYourDressOut.

Vincent Stanford, 24, has been charged with her murder and will appear in court next month.
