Scout Willis, the daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, has staged a one-woman topless protest in the streets of New York City in response to Instagram's no female nudity policy.
The 22-year-old actor was suspended from the popular photo, video and social networking service by administrators, after she posted a photo of a sweatshirt she designed featuring an image of two topless women.
Willis took the streets of New York City shortly thereafter, where it's legal for women to appear in public topless.
"What @instagram won't let you see #FreeTheNipple," Willis posted on rival social media platform Twitter.
"Legal in NYC but not on @instagram," she added in another tweet, posting a picture of her perusing flowers in a sidewalk stall.
Instagram's terms of service state, "You may not post violent, nude, partially nude, discriminatory, unlawful, infringing, hateful, pornographic or sexually suggestive photos or other content."
The social media platform is renown for its zero tolerance stance on female nudity, and won't allow images of breast cancer survivors and women breastfeeding babies.
