Scuba divers drown under Vic pier

Two scuba divers have been found dead under a pier on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula.

Two scuba divers have drowned under a Victorian pier.

Police have confirmed that two divers, a man and woman, were found dead underneath the Schnapper Point pier in Mornington shortly after midday on Friday.

A local walking on the pier spotted the divers and alerted authorities.

Water police are working to recover the bodies and say the deaths are not being treated as suspicious.
