Manly five-eighth Kieran Foran is facing several weeks on the sidelines after again suffering a hamstring injury, this time in New Zealand's Test win over the Kangaroos on Sunday.

Sea Eagles coach Geoff Toovey broke the news on the club website.

"Unfortunately for us we got an injury out of it (the Test match) Kieran Foran looks like he may be out for several weeks with a hamstring injury," Toovey said.

"He played on in the second half with it, but will be out for several weeks."

It wasn't all bad news for the cellar-dwelling Sea Eagles, with Feleti Mateo (ankle) and Josh Starling (knee) chances to return when they take on the Knights this Sunday at Brookvale Oval.
