Search continues for hunter missing in WA

Dozens of police and volunteers have joined the search for hunter Reginald Foggerdy, who has gone missing in remote desert country.

Police have stepped up the search for a hunter missing for days in remote desert country in Western Australia.

Reginald George Foggerdy, 62, was last seen on Wednesday leaving the Shooter Shack camp, about 170km east of Laverton.

An air and land search was launched on Thursday after he failed to return to camp.

Up to 40 police and State Emergency Service volunteers will scour the desert on Saturday for signs of Mr Foggerdy, who had a rifle but no food or water.
