Search for two missing NSW schoolgirls

Police have launched an appeal for help after two schoolgirls went missing from Sydney's southwest earlier this week.

Police are appealing for information about the whereabouts of two schoolgirls who have gone missing from Sydney's southwest.

Teagan Lloyd and Skye Keenan, both 13, went to school in Rouse Hill on Wednesday morning.

But they failed to attend class at 12.30pm and have not been seen since, police said on Friday.

Police say their disappearance is out of character and there are concerns for their welfare.

Teagan is described as being of Caucasian appearance, approximately 155-160cm tall, with green eyes, long blonde hair and a thin build.

She was last seen wearing dark blue shorts, a white knitted t-shirt and a white jumper, and was carrying a black jumper.

Skye, from the Quakers Hill area, is described as being of Caucasian appearance with an olive complexion, approximately 160-165cm tall, with brown eyes, long brown hair and a thin build. She has a New Zealand accent.

She was last seen wearing a black t-shirt with white writing and shorts.
