Night patrols by police have yet to locate a 95-year-old Victorian man missing for four days.

Toorak man Ronald McMaster was last seen at a service station on the Princes Highway at Nar Nar Goon on Saturday morning, re-fuelling his cream/grey 1967 Vanden Plas sedan with registration plates 987 84H.

It's believed he was heading for Bermagui on the NSW south coast.

Victoria Police on Tuesday said they were holding regular patrols across the night in the region where he went missing.

Police and his family are concerned for his welfare, due to his advanced age, and are keen to find the "kind and generous" loving grandfather of seven and great-grandfather of two.

He was so ageless his family dubbed him 'Peter Pan'.

Mr McMaster, who is a vintage car enthusiast, has been living independently since his wife died in 2012.

He is Caucasian, about 180cm tall, of thin build with grey hair and was last seen wearing a red jumper over a blue shirt and grey trousers.
