The Australian government has congratulated Guy Sebastian for his top-five finish in the Eurovision Song Contest.
Arts Minister George Brandis said Sebastian is a "wonderful ambassador" for Australian musical talent on the international stage and has won the hearts of European audiences.
Liberal frontbencher Christopher Pyne tweeted: "Great work @GuySebastian for fifth place at #Eurovision2015. A great South Australian, @Adelaide_FC Ambassador and Australian!"
