Collingwood have confirmed that newcomer Jack Crisp is also under an AFL betting investigation.

The revelation comes in the same week Western Bulldogs midfielder Lachie Hunter and an unnamed player in their VFL side came under league investigation.

The AFL's integrity unit is looking into an alleged bet Crisp made last year when he was playing for Brisbane.

"Collingwood is aware of the AFL looking into a bet Jack may have placed early last year, while he was playing for Brisbane," Magpies football manager Neil Balme said in a statement.

"As we understand it, the investigation is continuing and we await the outcome."

Crisp, 21, joined Collingwood in the trade that sent Magpies star Dayne Beams to the Lions.

He was named in their squad for Saturday night's NAB Challenge match against the Bulldogs.

The AFL's strict anti-gambling policy forbids players and officials from betting on matches.
