Singer Rise is the second member of Ladies' Code to die from a road accident, four days after a car crash that claimed the life of 22-year-old Go Eun-bi.

The 23-year-old had been in a coma since undergoing emergency brain surgery for a head injury.

"At the time of the accident on the 3rd, RiSe obtained a big injury to her head and was moved to the hospital," her label said in a statement.

"She was operated on as much as possible for a long time, but she has ultimately passed away."

The K-pop group were travelling in South Korea when the vehicle reportedly crashed into the guard rail.

It's believed EunB died almost immediately.

One member suffered a fractured jaw, while two others sustained minor injuries.

Police are now investigating the incident.

K-pop singers have taken to social media to mourn both of the K-pop stars.
