Britain's armed forces will be deployed to boost security, British Prime Minister Theresa May has announced, as the country raises its terror threat to the highest level after an apparent suicide attack in Manchester killed 22 people, including children.

Police say the suspect Salman Abedi carried out the deadly bombing at a Manchester pop concert - reportedly just days after returning from Libya.
