Sei Young Kim leads LPGA event in Hawaii

South Korean golfer Sei Young Kim has a one-shot lead going into the final round of the LPGA Tour's Lotte Championship.

Sei Young Kim has a one-shot lead after three rounds of the LPGA Tour's Lotte Championship in Hawaii.

With the breeze making birdies elusive at Ko Olina, the 22-year-old South Korean Sei Young Kim had a round of two under to be 12-under-par 204 for the tournament with compatriot IK Kim her nearest rival.

Sei Young Kim will take a lead into the final round for the second straight tournament.

Two weeks ago, she had a four-shot advantage in the ANA Inspiration and finished fourth in the major championship.

Sei Young Kim won in the Bahamas in February in her second start as an LPGA Tour member.

Minjee Lee is the best-placed Australian at one under in a tie for 23rd.
