Geelong have confirmed Joel Selwood will skipper their side for a fourth straight season.
Selwood, who was named All-Australian captain for the second time last year, will head a smaller leadership group in 2015 that doesn't include star forward Steve Johnson or veteran midfielder James Kelly.
Harry Taylor retains his role as vice-captain, Andrew Mackie and Tom Hawkins also return from last year's group, while veteran defender Corey Enright is the sole new addition.
"This year we made a conscious decision to reduce the size of the group to allow more efficient decision making," Geelong football manager Steve Hocking said in a statement.
"These players rated the highest amongst their peers for the values, way they play and lead. We think they will represent the playing group, the team and the club very well."
Mathew Stokes and Mitch Duncan were added to the group for the first time last year, but join Johnson and Kelly in making way in the reshuffle.
"With their experience and standing at the club, all four will continue to display the characteristics that have seen them rated so highly by their peers, coaches and management over their time at the club," Hocking said.
Selwood, 26, continues in the role he took over from premiership skipper Cameron Ling in 2012 and has his sights set on leading the Cats to a ninth finals series in succession.
"We're in a position where we think we can still play off and contend with these really good sides," Selwood said.
"We've got a job to do and we're really looking forward to getting down to it."
